Summary of Polices/Procedures:
BE ADVISED THAT ITEMS ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO BE FOUND BY THE OPERATOR.
Wave Transit System’s lost and found items will be processed and /or
discarded from the Beltline Office, 1224 W. I-65 Service Road, South,
and found items are reported by the driver to the dispatcher.
- If Items
are lost Saturday, it will be available on the following business day.
- If an
item is lost on a day that falls on an observed holiday, then the items
will not be available until the next business day.
items are held in dispatch for (30) consecutive days from the date they are
found by the Wave Transit.
perishable food items and soiled items that are emanating an odor will be
disposed of immediately.
documents such as ID/Credit/Social Security cards, Driver’s Licenses, etc.
will be shredded.
of no apparent value or use will be discarded.
in good condition will be donated to a charitable organization.
